OK, I realize that in life there are always trade offs. And maybe I just want the best of all worlds. But this place can really pack them in there. The campsite felt small, it seemed like it might be the size of four football fields with some trees. But it may have just seemed cramped because of the way they had site after site piled on top of one another. Now here's the trade off, if you can deal with smelling your neighbor's feet, its right off the beach, and right on the bike trail to downtown. Now I guess I shouldn't expect much from a campground thats so close to a city, but this is Vermont. If I had it to do over again, I may sacrafice the convience to stay further up on the lake and out of these cramped quarters. Oh and I was up in the middle of the night, and the skunks were roaming the grounds I sat very still on the bench as he walked right by hoping he didn't notice me.
