The hotel caters for all types of visitor, from families, to couples to business travellers (the hotel also has a conference room), and even our teenage school group had to admire the beautiful grounds that the hotel is situated in. The pool, where most of us spent our first "relaxation day" is surrounded on one side by palm trees to shade the poolside tables, whilst sunloungers stretch around two of the other sides.
Foodwise, the hotel has a spacious "Multi Cuisine Restaurant" on the first floor, which serves delicious Indian curries, as well as traditional western food for breakfast. This was my favourite place to eat out of all of the restaurants that we visited. The hotel also has an organic garden, and according to the website: "Our guests are welcome to visit to pick and choose vegetables and fruits of their choice to be cooked by our team of master chefs as per the cuisine of their choice."
The grounds are the perfect place to relax in the sub-continental sun, and the gardens are well kept by the hotel’s team of gardeners. The hotel also has a health club underground beside the pool.
If the hotel is to be your first port of call, then I highly recommend that you change your money at the reception. You get a good enough exchange rate, and any money that you don’t take out with you can be left in the hotel safe.
