These little rooms are just Inside Diocletian's Palace, the ancient Roman ruins which are now Split's city center. You jump a few stairs (not so few if you are at the upper floor...) and you are in the lively and crowded Split "movida". Our window directly faced Peristil!
The room had its own bathroom with linens, bathfoam, hair dryer, air conditioning and free internet access.
They do not serve breakfast, but there is a good bar just outside.
Some friends of us stayed there on January and told us it was a little cold during night. Maybe better on Summer!
