Pousada Sonho Meu

Pousada Sonho Meu translates to "My Dream." This hostel is the dream of a woman named Tania...the owner and manager. It is a cute little place situated in the center of town. The small pool has a garden around it and is a great place to relax and cool off after hiking the nearby Iguacu Falls. The rooms are simple and clean and have a TV. There is an open air community kitchen that could be used by guests that is a fun place to meet other people, but it is also within walking distance of restaurants. Mornings bring a breakfast buffet of breads, cakes, fruits, sausages and other delights. Tania will help you make arrangemnts to visit the Argentina side of the Falls and is helpful with any other arrangements or information you will need. The hostel also has a computer and the cost for using it is inexpensive. It is a place to stay and relax and feel safe. It is also convieniently located close to a grocery store. A bargain at around $43 a night. The Pousada Sonho Meu is next to the local Bus Station called T.T.U. It is easy to get to & from the airport..take bus #120, the bus that is labeled Aeroporto/Pq.Nacional. There is only one bus and when you reach the bus terminal, exit in the same direction of the zoo..they are located on the right side of the zoo about 2 blocks away. This same terminal and same bus will also take you back to the airport and to the Brazilian side of the Iquacu Falls Park and to the shopping areas and town.
