We stayed for three days over the 4rth of July holiday and had a great time. When I opened the door I was surprised at the quality of the room. The hotel is new and has a contemporay design. The room was spacious, had a great view. It was very clean.
The location is perfect. The motel is only a few block from either Navy Pier or Michigan Ave. Most downtown attractions are within walking distance. You can catch the Clark Street bus which is only a block an way and it will take you directly to Wrigley Field. The Near North side has plenty of nightclubs and restaurants so you can take your pick.
The motel staff was helpful and attentive. They served a hot breakfast in a buffet style in the morning in a nice sized dining room with windows. The breakfast staff were particulary helpful.
For the money we payed i think this was one of the best bargains in a motel room I have ever had.
Just FYI if you have read other reviews the valet parking is expensive. I solved this problem by parking at a private lot on Illinois and State which is only two blocks away for $25 a day. This beats the $42 valet parking and if you want to store your purchases in your car it is accessable and only two blocks away.

This turned out to be a great choice for our holiday stay. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was updated, clean and just as pictured on website. The hotel has a great location. We were even given a few printouts containing walking distances of restaurants and attractions. We were very close to just about everything. The other plus to the hotels location is it cut down on flagging taxis and the expense of fares. I must admit that my party really enjoyed the breakfast buffet where we were able to make our own waffles. All in all a very good experience and will stay again.

The Hotel is located in a prime location! You can park at the hotel parking and walk most places. The room was very nice and CLEAN! The breakfast was great! We ate so much even our kids weren't hungry until the afternoon! Our kids loved swimming in the indoor pool! We are telling all our family and friends to stay here when they come to Chicago! We will be staying here again!

Stayed here for a Bulls-Pistons game! This Hotel is flawless as far as service and cleanliness! The service desk staff was very helpful and willing! Rooms were good size and very clean! Even the hotel maids smiled and said hi! There is much to do as we were right in the middle of mag.. mile. Lots of restaurants and shops!! With that said, Prices for parking are very steep!! $44 a night for velet parking! Transportation was quite steep too, you must catch the cab or take the bus to anywhere you don't want to walk to. Driving is just to diffulcult with all the traffic and pedestrians!

Stayed on weekend of January 9, 2009. The room was clean, staff was super nice and professional. Check in was fast and so was check out and valet. Called the desk for extra toiletries, and towels and service was prompt. We had a king suite and the linens were just ok, but nice. Continental breakfast bar was ok too, above average, not the typical donuts and croissants. Waffle station, fruit, oatmeal. The eggs and sausage were kinda iffy looking. Overall the hotel is clean, the rooms were clean, and the staff was really nice. The price was also the lowest found for downtown Chi. and it's close to everything. There's a decent excercise room and pool upstairs, but it was too cold to swim. Great place to stay...
