Great Hostel in a Good Location!

The Managua Backpackers Inn offers cheap beds, starting at eight dollars a night as well as private shared rooms with their own bathrooms and really reasonable rates. The room was clean and the people working at the hostel were friendly and knowledgeable. We stayed here one night before flying out top the Corn Islands and enjoyed a leisurely afternoon in their great outdoor space including hammocks, lounge chairs and a well maintained pool. There is also a computer, wifi, lending library, kitchen as well as a tv and an extensive DVD collection free for guests to use.
The Managua Backpackers Inn is located in a relatively safe area, walking distance to some good restaurants, a supermarket (convenient if you want to use the hostel kitchen to cook) the mall and a casino. While we were there it also happened to be near where the Moscow Circus had decided to pitch its tent which turned out to be a major plus!
