Lovely Location

The hotel Torre Dell' Orologio is such a nice place to stay right down a quiet alleyway. The rooms were very spacious, hence the name All Suites. Nice dark wood floors and large comfortable beds. It is located off the main square in Venice but is actually surprisingly not too noisy. You can hear the clock tower chime but that just added to the atmosphere. The staff was very helpful and the hotel breakfast room looked over one of the many canals. The staff was able to help us get reservations for some great tours and also to give us the names and what to order at some of the fun dining spots. The pigeons in the square were really something to watch and fun to see the peoples reactions to them. There were vendors everywhere and of course the gondola rides right outside our hotel. Such a wonderful adventure. Be sure and give yourself plenty of time to sightsee here.
