Horrible... Horrible... Horrible!

This is the worst place I have stayed in over 10 years.
The internet photos look nice, it was supposedly remodeled, is a decent price, and is supposed to have a free airport shuttle and a free shuttle to the cruise terminal. Those are the main reasons I chose to stay here the night before my cruise.
My "Experience" review tells of the wait for the free shuttle to the hotel. We waited a total of 2 hours at the airport before they decided we should take a taxi. They had no idea why their shuttle driver hadn't made his last run of the evening.
When our taxi arrived at the hotel, the first thing we saw was two police cars with lights flashing... parked in front of the lobby. The shuttle wait had delayed our arrival here until 1:00 am. Because of the police and yelling in the parking lot, we were apprehensive about walking to our room. We had to walk the length of the parking area, then down a long deserted corridor to an elevator. After riding up to the 2nd floor, we had to walk to the front of the hotel. There were murky, smelly puddles of stagnant water to wade through on the walkway. When we reached our room, we were greeted by a strong sewer smell. I'm not sure if it was from the street in front, or from the pipes on the rooftop in front of our room.
The room was "no frills", and very dark-looking. I was not impressed. Beds were lumpy, and I felt uneasy about sleeping in this room. I went for ice, which I located after walking back through the puddles. Then I tried to get some pop from the machine..... $4.00 later, nothing. The desk clerk said he couldn't get us pop or refund our money until he asked the manager in the morning. I asked what time the shuttle left in the morning, and was told 10:00, and every hour after.
The next morning we went to find our complimentary breakfast at 9:00 am. Just as I was ready to order, I noticed the shuttle van to the ship was almost full and ready to go! I ran to the van, and asked if he'd please wait a minute while we retrieved our luggage. He did, and we left at 9:30 (half hour early) with no breakfast. (This is probably the same driver who never showed up at the airport?) He expected a tip.... sorry.
We would not feel safe walking in this area after dark. The staff is extremely rude, and won't offer to help you with anything. We really struggled to get our luggage to the 2nd floor. It doesn't look like the photos I've seen! The other people riding in the van to the ship also said they would NEVER stay here again.
I would not recommend it to anyone!
