Description: The Beach Grill overlooks the first tee of the picturesque Waikoloa Beach Golf Course between the King's Shops and the Hilton Waikoloa Village. The Beach Grill specializes in Pacific Rim as well as American cuisine. The Beach Grill combines the skills of two talented chefs, Stephen Tabor and David Brown. Together they feature a diverse and affordable menu with delicious dishes and appetizers such as Katafi Crab Cakes with Sweet Chili Supreme Sauce ($11.95), Tomato Chicken Curry, Grilled Double Lamb Chops ($14.95), Grilled Duck Breast with Chutnied Fruit Salad ($12.50), 3 oz. Big Island Beef Tenderloin with Hamakua Mushroom sauce ($18.95), and their R.B.I. (boneless grilled grass fed prime rib beef steak). They have a full bar and wine selection. They also cook up their favorite homemade breads, pies, savory steaks and fresh seafood specials. This restaurant has a charming setting, with a beautiful golf-course view and is suitable for families also. Their dessert selection is also wonderful and their dessert menu offers 12 delectable choices including Deep Dish Double Crust Apple Pie, Chocolate Macadamia Nut Pie ($7.50), Tahitian Vanilla Creme Brulee ($8.25) and Strawberry Shortcake (with a lot of strawberries at $7.00). They also feature a popular Baked Hawaii ($10.00). The Waikoloa Beach Grill is open daily for lunch from 11am - 4pm and they open for Appetizers and Desserts from 4pm - 5pm. Dinner is served nightly from 5pm - 9pm. The service is very attentive and friendly. Note that this restaurant can get very crowded when occupancy is high along the South Kohala Coast. To get to the Waikoloa Beach Grill, enter the entrance for the Waikoloa Beach Resort, then take a right at the third stop sign (after you pass the King's Shops). Then take a right at the second driveway. I would definitely recommend eating at this restaurant if you want to eat delicious gourmet food in a beautiful golf course setting.
