Great Budget Hotel

I stayed at the Salmon Bake the summer of 2008. I went to Alaska on a budget and was pleasantly surprise with the my entire experience at the Bake. The economy room cost $74 per night for two people. The economy cabins are bare bone cabins for the budget traveler. Two beds, electric, heat & shared bathrooms. The thing that surprised me about the Salmon Bake was the location. It was actually right in the center of everything. They provided a free shuttle to and from the park entrance.
The restaurant was great (Chowder to die for) and they bar had live music every night we were there.
I would suggest them to anyone.
