Good but Pricy Conference Hotel

This is a very nice hotel. I was there for a conference, and it went smoothly and comfortably. I paid $179-$184 per night (varied by night) for a spaceous King Room. GREAT water pressure in the shower, and very comfortable bed. I would have no problem staying there again.
The one real problem, which others have also noted, is that the area is deserted...very few restaurants, and the only real activity is the St. Louis Arch.
One further note; the Mayfair, which is right next door, is an equally nice hotel...and I got a room for less than 1/2 the price
