The Perhentian Islands are located 20Km's off mainland peninsular Malaysia. These two jungle clad islands are rated amongst the most beautiful in South East Asia. No roads, therefore no cars and noise this is the perfect place to getaway from it all. Flora Bay is located just a few metres from the beach and is surrounded by a gorgeous tropical garden. Small 'A' frame huts are the norm that offer AC or Fans, after that you really don't need to many extras. Relax on the beach (which only has a handful of other resorts), explore the jungle trails that lead to other secluded beaches or exlore the locals reefs and pinnacles that are all within easy reef. The attached diveshop is very well equipped and has very friendly staff who are always willing to offer their knowledge and experience to those who are new to the sport. Training courses can easily be arranged and its possible to qualify in three to four days. These islands are still as beautiful as ever, I have been visiting them for the last four years and everytime I come I'm amazed by their beauty.
