A Nice Accomodation in Rustic Setup

Pros: The resort offers a mix of old and new west in this beautiful and scenic city which is full of guest and working ranches and known as cowboy capital of world. The resort provides all the modern amenities in the rustic settings.
Grocery store and eating joints are just 2 miles and offer a variety of food choices to everybody's taste and budget.
Unit Type: 1BR/2BR available
I rented a 1BR accommodation. It was equipped with all the amenities with full kitchen. The living room has a sofa cum bed and 29" TV, Music system and DVD/VCR combo. The bedroom has a nice queen size bed with Texan style decoration. The restroom was spacious with a big Tub and separate cubical for taking shower. Both the room open up in a balcony on the back which is connected directly to the golf course. The surroundings were quite and scenic. On the whole the unit I stayed in was very comfortable.

Services: The staff was very co-operative and helping. I reached there at 10:00p.m. and called them before for a late check-in. They are open till 10:30p.m. and even if you plan to arrive late you can call them in advance and they can do arrangements for you. I had a problem with my Air Conditioner and the help was immediate when I called the guest services. They fixed it immediately for me.

Activities:
On the Resort: You can pamper yourself whole day in a waterpark. It is as good as the one at Palm Beach in Moody Gardens, Galveston. They offer also tubing in a small serpentile lake. The water park is free for the guests.
The full size swimming pool is well maintained and very clean.
The golf course is on the site but there are charges for it.
The tennis courts are good enough to play a casual game.
The petty zoo for the children is small but enjoyable for children.
They have a ghost town for the children.
Horse riding and lessons are available at a reasonable price.
They offer lot of activities for the children like cowboys showing some tricks on their horses.
The children can be left at activity center during the day at an affordable price.
Nearby: The place offers lot of historic places nearby to visit like Frontier times museum, Medina lake, Polly's chapel and some oldest historic buildings in the country. More information can be obtained at Bandera Convention and visitor Bureau (www.banderacowboycapital.com).
The drive in the nearby tree covered hilly town is very scenic and enjoyable.

Location: The resort is located 50 miles from San Antonio, TX and can be reached by taking exit from I-10 west onto 1604 loop west going further on right at Bandera Rd/TX-16 N.
