Only option at last minute - regret staying

We booked this hotel for a trip down to Baylor for the weekend, and we were booking last minute and unfortunately everything else was already sold out. This hotel was terrible. The door lock was broken, people were loitering outside, my 15 year old son even turned up his nose at the bathroom, and on and on. Don't waste your money unless your only other option is sleeping in your car.

The room seemed fairly clean but smelled. The carpet, walls and furnishings were well worn. The advertised continental breakfast was located in the office and consisted of Froot Loops cereal, a loaf of bread sitting next to a toaster and no coffee (coffee pot was empty) or other drinks. The staff could not be seen and did not come to the desk unless noise was made to get their attention. On the positive side, the linens were clean and we did get some sleep. We probably won't go back unless we are really desparate.
