Evelyn, the proprietor of this lovely home, works very hard not only to greet you as a visitor, but to make you truly feel welcome as a guest in her home. Her mountain side retreat is a lovely getaway from the hustle and bustle, and a picturesque one at that! The couple of rooms are themed and done in a cozy décor. Her home leaves nothing to be desired, as she has WiFi connection, DVD players (both in the lounge area as well as the bedrooms), pool table, hot tub on her back patio, pool and Jacuzzi and a breakfast like you don’t often get at B&Bs. She will cook you eggs, bisquits, bacon or sausage, fried potatoes and serve it with an assortment of fresh fruit. This is washed down with juice of your choice and coffee or tea. You’ll start your day on the right foot She gave us a fantastic dinner recommendation which was about 10-15 minutes south of her property. The Nautical Inn is just barely over the Oregon/California state line in Smith River, CA. See my review and photos in a separate journal.
