Situated in the residential area of Chişinău, with many embassies and other hotels, Hotel Codru is right across Ştefan the Great Park.

Its look is great. Rooms have a good look, but for its four stars, Hotel Codru needs some more training of its staff. Rooms come in two categories: standard rooms, which have not been refurbished, and Euro rooms, which have been refurbished. The price differs, of course. Otherwise, the rooms have the same facilities: shower/bath, minibar (caution: the fridge is unplugged; if you would like to cool your drinks, just plug it in), and colour TV. The bar downstairs is all right, only it closes early, not being a place for having a drink later at night. The souvenir shop also does this, and it does not open on weekends either.
