The Perfect Relaxing Beach Vacation!

My fiancée and I were looking for a fun, relaxing beach vacation and that’s just what we found at the Pink Palace! We were put in a beautiful room with a huge terrace that overlooked the entire beach – nothing is more romantic than watching a Grecian sunset together! We found the staff to be kind and very helpful, always eager to suggest new activities we could try (the kayak safari was my favourite – we had the best guide who took us to the most gorgeous secluded beaches…). The dinner was amazing and a great chance to meet lots of other couples who were vacationing there as well. I loved that the room price included a huge breakfast AND dinner! A big thanks to the Pink Odyssey for giving us the perfect pre-honeymoon!

Agios Gordios & the Pink Palace: picturesque, serene, inexpensive, and fun! I definitely recommend this destination to families with kids who want a relaxing and easy vacation. We didn't have to go far to stay entertained for two whole weeks - the beautiful beach right out front, the Agios Gordios village just down the road, kayak and quad bike rentals from the hotel. Plus, breakfast and a delicious dinner (something different every night) were served on-site at the Palladuim dining room and were included in the price of our stay! Overall the staff and service were excellent!

Vacation from Vacation!

Our stay (myself and my husband) at the Pink Palace was simply great. Situated in a little village a short ride from Corfu Town, the Pink Palace has spectacular views of the mountainside and the sea. At dinner, the view of the sunset from the Palladium dining room (full service dinner) was rivalled only by the lookouts we visited during Quad Safari. An inexpensive way to see lots of the island with lunch included, the Safari takes you up and down the hilly roads of Corfu to a long sandy beach, a mountaintop monastery, two cafes all with fun ATVing in between.

We spent time at the beach in front of the Palace with free sun loungers and super cheap floating beds and umbrellas. Kayaking (either by yourself or as part of another Safari) gets you around the island by water for private beaches, cliff jumping, and a different perspective on Corfu.

The three course dinners (included in the night's fee, and which change daily) are generous, Greek and delicious, and the veggie option was excellent. The beach kitchen serves a great cheap lunch (souvlaki, pita, fries, Greek salad, tuna melt...)

The accomodations were super comfortable - we stayed in the two star hotel building, newly renovated (but there are cheaper rooms for rent). We met some other couples, some older people and two families staying in these quieter rooms.

The staff were very courteous and helpful. The port pick-up was a huge perk - we learned our first Greek words on the bus ride to the Palace! Overall, it was a gorgeous location with so many opportunities to explore and relax on Corfu. A definite four thumbs up!

It Was Lovely...

When my wife and I decided to do some travelling around Greece earlier this year, we were worried at first that the hostels we would come across would not be to our liking. This was true of some, but the Pink Palace was lovely and perfect for us. As we were a bit older than most of the other guests staying there, this might have been a problem but it really wasn't. There was so much to do and see.
The location is wonderful, high on the mountain side overlooking a incredible view of the beautiful sea. The staff are helpful, friendly, and nothing seemed to be too much of a problem-they even provided a free bus service to pick us up at the port which was very convienient.
The price was reasonable, and great value too. It included a homecooked breakfast and dinner, and it was very fulfiling so lunch for us wasn't really needed! The rooms were comfortable and clean, probably the two most important qualities. And there were other added bonuses such as an internet room, a nice bar near the reception area etc.
During the day there was plenty to do and see. The countryside around the Pink Palace is perfect for exploring and having a walk. We also discovered the historical sites of old Corfu town.
Although there are plenty of activities for younger people, such as the nightclub, if that isn't really your scene (which it wasn't for us) then you are far away enough from it so it doesn't bother you. But in general the guests staying there were a big mix of all ages anyway.
When we next travel to Corfu, we will definitely be staying at the Pink Palace again, couldn't recommend it more!

I don't know what it was that kept me there...it could have been the amazing rooms they put you in (so clean and overlooking the sea which is great for sunsets) or maybe the great price i paid (breakfast and dinner included!!) or it could have been the loads of people i met and all the wonderful memories i still have of that place or even alllllll of the activities they have to offer : quad safari (a must), kayaking, snorkeling, booze cruise (another must), guided tours... the list goes on and on and i could go ON forever but i wont! basically this place isnt as overrated as some people think! its just what everyone needs...a little slice of greek heaven, a gorgeous beach to relax on and a party all day and night long! i would and DO reccomend it to everyone! It really is a hard place to leave, but not in a bad way! They cater to you and your needs and make you feel like family there.... how can that be a bad experience? Thanks to everyone who made my stay there a time i'll never forget!! :)
