The rooms are individual buildings in a beautiful setting. It is very clean with beautiful gardens and stonework. There is a lovely pool overlooking the beach. We were told it is one of the oldest hotels on the island. Even the cheapest rooms we had were spacious. The bathroom was a good size with a bath/shower. The room servicing was excellent. The cost of the room was moderate in relation to Australia. The food and beverages cost a lot in relation to eating out in Bali, although it was good food. We also ate at the Japanese and Italian/Kebab restaurants in the hotel. There is a service charge as well as government tax which makes the end price more expensive than the menu price by quite a bit. The hotel shop was extremely expensive for snacks etc. The staff were outstanding, and the buffet breakfast included in the price of our room was fantastic. Would recommend it as a place to stay, but avoid room service food/mini-bar and hotel restaurants/bars if you are on a budget.
