This was a wonderful hotel in the town of Parl in the winelands. If you stay, you must have dinner in their restaurant rated one of the worlds best. Compared to London, the food and wine prices are very reasonable. We had an 8-course tasting menu. Book early as it will take all night! Staff were wonderfully helpful.

Our room was a duplex suite bigger than most apartments back home with everything you could wish for. Quite rustic styling but also mod cons such as flat screen TVs and rain showers. There are 2 pools, one heated for adults only. You can't imagine you would ever want an unheated one, it wasn't too warm even in the adult pool! Lovely little wine store called 'we love wine' a 10 min walk down the road where we bought sparkling wine made by the owner himself for £3 a bottle!
