Dana Vigilante and Matthew Mc......Wedding. The Ritz Carlton, Laguna Niguel

I too attended Dana Vigilante's wedding at this hotel and all I can say that if anyone is thinking of having their wedding here - GO FOR IT!!!!!! Dana and Matt are a beautiful couple to begin with, so combine that with a beautiful hotel with flawless service, and you've hit the jackpot. This was the best wedding my husband and I ever attended (and I've been to over 140 weddings)!!! Dana Vigilante looked gorgeous. She had a gorgeous light pink custom made wedding dress on (yes, gorgeous light pink). She changed into another gorgeous dress for the reception. Matt looked gorgeous as usual - all 6'5 of him in a white tuxedo. His nine groomsmen looked pretty darn good as well! In heels, Dana is 6 feet tall, so they really looked beautiful together. This hotel was a dream come true for us to visit and we are looking forward to returning again at the begining of next year for our own anniversary.

Footnote: Dana Vigilante and Matthew were married at the Ritz Carlton in Laguna Niguel on Saturday evening. The bride walked down the aisle to "All I Want Is You", by U2. The song was picked by Matt, who did not tell Dana that this was going to be played. As usual, Dana looked angelically exquisite. She carried a gorgeous bouquet of dark red roses, tied with several scapulars that held pictures of her parents. The receptionist was a reflection of the bride and groom's desire to keep the party casual and full of love. They danced their first dance to "Darling Be Home Soon", by Joe Cocker, and danced toward the end of the evening to "Into The Mystic", by Van Morrison. The rehearsal dinner was held the Friday before in San Francisco, at the Fog City Diner. Again, in keeping with the bride's desire to keep the entire weekend casual and light, the dinner was a huge success. The entire bridal party arrived in San Francisco the week before. In lieu of wedding favors, the bride and groom made a donation on guests behalf to a cancer center in New York City. The wedding cake was a three tier concoction consisting of a layer of chocolate hazelnut creme, a layer of triple carrot cake, and a layer of French lemon creme. In addition, in keeping with the brides love of the treats, cupcakes were also served with milk. This was truly an exceptionally wonderful wedding. The next day, everyone enjoyed a lavish brunch. Dana Vigilante writes - What is there NOT to love about this hotel? Every single amenity you can think of - and more. As a surprise, my boyfriend booked the Suite Dreams package for us. We drove the coast from San Francisco and arrived here as the sun was setting. This hotel is situated on the absolute tip of the coast. The views are breathtaking. Our room was absolutely gorgeous. We had turndown service complete with rose petals strewn all over the bed. I fell in love with the bed! It was the absolutely most comfortable bed I ever slept in (and what a coincidence, this week I recieved a Ritz Carlton bed/bedding catalog in the mail)! We also loved Eno. A place that specializes in two of my favorite things - cheese and chocolate!!! While my boyfriend spent one day golfing, I spent the day in the spaaaaaaaaaah! It was bliss. We also enjoyed a couples massage as well during our stay. That evening we enjoyed the seafood buffet at 162. It was so gorgeous to be right on the beach. After dinner, we took a bottle of champagne and sat on the beach chatting until the wee hours. We spent the next day (trying) to surf, which was a blast. This was by far, the most romantic hotel I have ever stayed in. We were sad to leave and we are looking forward to returning again in the very near future. Dana Vigilante

Absolutely luxurious and wonderful. Valet service is exceptional and the concierge had everything we needed. The dining room food was great but pricy and worth it.
