A crowded but nice state park. We had both an RV and large tent on one site and still had room. Each site has a fire pit, covered picnic table, and the RV sites all had electric with a water and dumping station nearby. You can walk to a section of the fishing area on the River but would want to drive just about anywhere else. The site closer to the showers and bathrooms appeared to be much more crowded and had many mroe children. However the lower the number of your site the further you were from the bathrooms meaning a 300+ yeard walk.
There are several camping areas here, this one appeared to be almost all RV sites, witha small mix of tents. The park has quiet hours after 9pm, and when they say quiet they mean it, my kids were the only noise I could hear all night!
There is a "general store" that has a few necessitites as well as your daily trout tags. They close early though so make sure you get your firewood early or you will have to drive several miles.
There is also a Lodge hotel in the park with rooms and cabins and also has a sit down restaurant and meeting rooms. A pool in the campground is open in the summer. There are many hiking trails from 1/4 mile and up, some will work ok with a stroller as well.
