Location:
In the middle of Sandefjord centre, walking distance to train station, bus stops, and only 10km from Torp Airport. Distance: E18 from Oslo to Sandefjord. 120km South/80 Minutes. E18 from Larvik - 20km. The hotel had parking for a fee in the basement.
Hotel:
Hotel is in a very nice old brick building, surrounded by buildings in the same style. Sandefjord is a small, cozy, and very nice town.
The reception staff were nice, and the check inn was fast with no issues. The service during the stay was great.
I got a quite large room by Nordic standards, I am not sure if this was a regular room type. Besides enough space, there were two twin beds, which was good, and also a good chair for relaxing. The size of the bath was also fine. The furniture in the room was not new, and a bit worn, but no problem. The room was clean, and the maid did a good job during my stay.
The breakfast was nice, not huge, so I have seen better, but it covered my needs, and was included in the price. There was also a small supper included, served in the breakfast room, and in the evenings you could make some waffles. The hotel also provided coffee, and all this is included for every guest.
The hotel has WiFi in all rooms as well, but for a fee.
Price: around $150/night weekend prices.
