This is the hotel I usually stay at when I'm Trondheim. I have used it 7-8 times, and I have had no problems, or anything to complain about.
Location:
Located in the "new" area of Trondheim city, called Nedre Elve havn, only a short walk from the train station. Buses stopping nearby, and so does the airport shuttle. It's about a 10 minute walk to the city center. The hotel is located by the water, Nidelven. There are a lot of nice restaurants, cafés, and a shopping center in the hotel area as well.
Hotel:
The hotel is almost new with nice clean bright rooms. The service is great, and the staff are nice and welcoming. A great breakfast is included.
Price:
Weekdays can be expensive, but on weekends prices are much lower, from approximately $100 (weekends) and up to $350 on weekdays; it depends on the season, etc.
