A small inn (posada), relatively new, just outside the city center consisting of 17 colorful rooms surrounding a garden with a huge avocado tree (at breakfast you get fresh avocados from the tree). The lobby and garden are filled with ironwork sculptures from local artists and with little fountains and ponds, very nice.
Rooms are clean and cheerful with plenty hot water and color TV (no phones in rooms but there is a phone -and free Internet- available in the lobby). You can choose between different sizes of rooms, including two so-called 'suites', which are actually just larger double rooms. Service was excellent and friendly and a good tasty breakfast (with local fruit, cheeses and 'arepas' a kind of flat bread probably best compared to a tortilla) is served for about $5,- extra.
Every one of the 17 rooms is different in size, colors and furnishings done in a rustic colonial style.
