What an awful dump! We stayed in a room on the second floor and paid $79.99 a night! When we entered, the room was obviously in poor condition--peeling paint, stains in bathroom on walls and floor, dust everywhere--truly a mess. The bed was fairly comfortable; the shower worked well with plenty of hot water and pressure-better than camping--I guess. The air conditioner worked well, almost too well, with two speeds: on and freezing and off and roasting. The bathroom sink did not work. The water was shut off because of a leak. We turned it back on and put a towel under the sink and were able to use the sink, since the leak was pretty slow. The remote control for the TV did not work. The controls on the bottom of the TV were hanging out of the front of the TV and you could still use them, just very carefully. We were able to watch the Sci-Fi channel. The coffee maker was huge and the little packets of coffee they gave you were for one cup. There was a microwave and small refrigerator. There were no bugs that we could see. We hoped that there were none we couldn’t see as well. I would never go back to this hotel and it looked like it had once been quite nice. What a shame!
