The hostess, Phil Flannery, was very nice and extremely helpful. She gave us plenty of suggestions about what to see and do in Galway and Salthill, as well as providing detailed directions. We had a large room with twin beds, a decent size bathroom and shower with good water pressure and adequate hot water. The size of the shower was again an issue for my taller companion, but I did not have any trouble. There was a variety available at breakfast, as we were able to choose off a menu (a nice change from eating the Irish Breakfast for 4 days straight!) Flannery's is about a 5 minute walk to the Salthill town center, and about a 15-20 minute walk into Galway. The room also had a TV and hair dryer available. A double ensuite room was about 29 EU.
