The best thing is that the owners are local farmers who take excellent care of you. They cooked meals and showed us how to make some excellent Thai food, showed us around the area and involved us in daily life in this rural area where we did not see one other "farang". And when we wanted to just relax, they stocked up the refrigerator with beer and left us to our own devices.
A beautiful setting and a great opportunity to live in the heart of this farming area and to do so in comfort. The pool was great as were the private decks and terraces, garden etc - where we were told to just eat any fruit we wanted - passion fruit, bananas, mangos, papaya, etc!
This was a superb place to stay, but you should only consider it if you want to get off the tourist path and interact with the local Thais, and are prepared to try out your language skills, new food, and some adventure. If you are, you'll return!
