Alpine Village

  • May 1, 2007
  • Rated 4 of 5 by Porchet from Chicago, Illinois
Alpine Village is a cabin resort that provides rental cabins of several sizes to fit the needs of almost any traveler. The cabins are located in a scenic, wooded location, with views of the Athabasca River and Mt. Edith Cavell in the background.

The office offers a small assortment of snacks for sale, and the resort has a 16' "hot pool" for the enjoyment of the guests. Although they do not have a restaurant on the premises, there are several to choose from just a mile or two from the resort.

The rooms were clean and neatly decorated, and although not luxurious, they fit our needs perfectly.

The only downside for us is that they are not pet-friendly, so when we bring our dogs along, we have to stay somewhere else.
