Hotel Zelis

Hotel Zelis is a small, locally run hotel for those on a medium budget or who want to experience something a little more friendly than a resort style hotel or apartment. The man at the door is one of the nicest people and makes you feel so welcome every time you walk into the building. The rooms are tastefully decorated with posters or photos of local views and everything feels very authentic. The beds are comfortable and plenty of storage space is provided. The windows are darkened which is a great relief when the fierce sun rises at 6am.

The included breakfast is a very decent buffet style affair with various croissants and breads, cold meats, cheese, or jam. There is no attached restaurant but that’s no problem as there are a couple just round the corner and part of the fun is finding a new restaurant every night.

At about 45 euros a double in high season, this place is mid-range in price and very much worth the price for the standard it provides.
