Oceanview Towers
Recently opened in 2006 after being shut down for 2 years due to the Hurricane season of 2004. The two condo buildings now has updated exterior features. It is located right on the beach and is about a 5 minutes drive to the hub of New Smyrna Beach where all the downtown action takes place.
The condo has a nice outdoor pool with beautiful landscaping. Each condo is furbished differently because most of them have owners that tend to rent them out for profit. The one I was in was a beautiful, recently upgraded condo with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The balcony overlooked the ocean and we could see the sun rise over the Atlantic Ocean every single morning.
The price is expensive but the atmosphere is very friendly and laid-back. There's lots of activities you could partake in, especially if you're planning to have a long stay (most people stay for between 1-3 months).
The downside is that some condos don't have laundry facilities (they're put in at the expense of the owner) but there's a coin washer and dryer on-site. Housekeeping service is also available at extra cost.
I would definitely recommend this place if you have a large budget and want to stay in a relaxing atmosphere and away from the hustle and bustle of downtown NSB!
