The Hilton Barbados Hotel is a very clean hotel right on the beach. The hotel is very quiet, as it is located away from the road on Needham's Point, which is a breeding beach for sea turtles. This means that at night you might be able to see turtles on the beach, but make sure you don't disturb them because it's against Bajan law.
The people at the hotel are very helpful, and after some friendly interaction, we ended up with an oceanfront room. They are very friendly and will do anything to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
The hotel restaurant has a very good breakfast buffet with local favourites like flying fish and fresh fruits. The food is a little on the pricey side, but you'll find that everywhere on Barbados Island.
One negative thing is that the road signage to the hotel is very poor and it is easily missed. So plan ahead and read a map carefully when driving from the airport.
