Love all the Kimpton Properties but Helix is great. Friendly staff, well-appointed rooms and the breakfast was really tasty! Its also in the heart of the 14th Street corridor so entertainment is close by.
I just had fun staying at the Helix.

Enjoyed the fun decor. The hotel lounge had great half off price on hamburgers during happy hour. The patio was large, open area that welcomed people and their dogs. Some people were playing bean bag toss, everyone looked relaxed.

Afternoon complimentary drinks were a treat after walking back from the city. Room service was pretty good, we waited a while but received part of our meal complimentary. Bed and shower were fantastic and parking was easy.
