HIlton Waikola Beach (Grand Vacation Club)

Well maintained, great view, master bath excellent, second bath call dinky by the kids. Nice decor. Entertainment system above average. Secondary entertainment systems average. Pool very nice but hot tub not at the high end of temperature. Onsite services are a little lacking. You have access to the Hilton Waikola Beach but the systems were not integrated no convenience of charging or getting Hilton points. The Hilton Pools were cold and the hot tub even colder.

The new HGVC resort did not have the ocean view we we're hoping for but offered a nice golf course view. With a very nice family oriented community feel or the resort.

We were in building 18 right on the golf course and next to the clubhouse.

Beautiful furnishings, clean, comfortable, and large enough to separate myself from three teenage boys.

This was our first trip to Hawaii. Being Hilton Grand Vacation owners, we preferred to stay in one of these resorts. We chose the Big Island because we wanted a quieter vacation than I expected to find in Oahu.

We previously stayed at the HGVC’s in Orlando – twice at Sea World and once at International Drive. In comparision, the onsite facilities at Kohala were disappointing. However, the options available a short drive away at the Hilton Village at Waikoloa Beach Resort were wonderful. The combination worked well and kept the noise away from the condo units. The problem was the lack of an onsite restaurant or even store to buy basic provisions.

The villas were very, very nice. A real treat.

This is a brand-new club. We were on the second story, 16th hole of the golf course. Gorgeous view. Beach access within minutes. The room was great and almost completely childproofed (we have a 14-month-old). They had a crib and high chair waiting in the room for us. Would recommend renting a car (parking is free).
