AmeriSuites Overland Park

We have found AmeriSuites a great place to stay. They have large rooms and they allow pets. Since we travel with our two dogs, this is a nice bonus. This hotel is located about 10-15 minutes from downtown Kansas City and is located 2 miles from the major highway. It is easy to find and tucked off the street, so it is very quiet. They provide a buffet breakfast that was quite tasty. We found cold cereal, pastries, eggs, bacon, and waffles (you make them yourself).

The rooms have a sitting area, a safe, a desk, microwave, and refrigerator. The rooms are always clean and the decor is typical hotel. Hard bed and all. The room was clean and well cared for. For those visitors with pets, a special area of the hotel is provided. This is nice for those without pets, quiet.

The only problem we had was that the water never got hot enough. We called down to the front desk, and within 15 minutes we had a maintenance man in our room and hot water.

I would recommend this hotel chain to anyone. We have stayed with them in many different cities and states and have found the same good service, and clean rooms everywhere.
