20th Wedding Anniversary

We are happy to recommend this inn to anyone looking for a place to celebrate an anniversary. We were here for the 20th wedding anniversary here, a gift from our son. We were very happy to spend five nights in July when the roses were in bloom. The island is very charming from the moment you step off the ferry: little roads, blooming flowers everywhere, cool weather, and beautiful skies. The inn is withing walking distance with beautiful decor, quite large, quaint, and welcoming. The innkeepers had champagne waiting for us and little chocolates. What a nice little surprise. They served snacks in the early evenings and they had complimentary drinks through the day. And you I can't forget the cookies. Delicious! The breakfast is also unlike any we've had, a buffet of berries. We walked downtown to the little shops, layed out on the beach during the day, and relaxed on the porch area in the evenings. We enjoyed our king size room with a comfortable bed, so comfortable I wanted my husband to buy one for us. The inn is very historic with a lot of antique furniture and old charm. Since both of us are into antiques, we loved it. It was one of the best vacations we've ever had and we'd love to come back someday.
Luxurious and Oh So Charming!

This amazing inn exudes luxury and still holds on to that true Nantucket feeling of charm away from the busyness of life. We can’t say enough good things about it to our friends and family. The rooms have a high-class décor look to them with personal touches. The baths are larger than at most BB’s we’ve been to. The floors are wooden, and completely redone. The inn was completely booked when we were there, but even so, it was still very quiet. There was no noise, which was perfect for a good night’s sleep. With all the renovations completed, the inn stands out from all the others we’ve been to in the past.

I would have to say this is one of the top inns on Nantucket ! We have been spending time here for over ten years. We prefer this inn: very unique, beautiful architecture, well-designed rooms that emphasizes comfort and that Nantucket feeling of charm. Great staff and one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had.

Being the only Zagat rated bed and breakfast on Nantucket, we decided to try it out this summer. I can say we were not disappointed. From the moment you walk in this inn exudes charm and luxury combined with a historic, quaint atmosphere; and very romantic. We had a memorable experience worth every $. The breakfast is delicious with healthy choices. The room was super clean and fresh. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. It’s more like staying at your grandma’s house rather than a hotel. We rented bikes and enjoyed the Nantucket beauty. The weather was perfect. The beaches are close by, as well as the downtown. The location couldn't be better. It’s a must lodging choice for Nantucket!

We spent our honeymoon here ten years ago and came back twice. In August we came for ten days and absolutely loved it. The ambiance is still like 'old times: charming, friendly, and very romantic! The inn is now renovated, including our room, but that was not a problem, the new one is even better. Loved the pillow-top bed! We just planned out trip for next year and I can hardly wait.
