We drove down from the UP looking for a nice place to stay in Mackinaw City. Our AAA tour book offered $30 off if you stayed at the Best Western. Wow - I can't tell you how surprised we were with the hotel and rooms. This place is nice, it's right on Lake Huron overlooking the water, the bridge, and Mackinaw Island. There's a pool and lots of parking, centrally located to the ferries and the middle of town for shopping.
