Menam Riverside Hotel

Strategically situated at the east side of Chao Phraya River, Menam Riverside Hotel offers a stunning view of the river, especially during sunset. This 4-star hotel is newly renovated with modern looking rooms. Always request a high level room in order to get a better view of the river!

Less than US$50 per night, the superior riverview room offers great comfort with clean and tidy necessities, putting aside the great view. Hot and cold shower, bath tub, drinking water, coffee making facility, network TV, hairdryer... All needed are mostly provided!

The hotel's swimming pool, open from 7am to 9pm daily, is indeed very charming. Being secluded by the main building and coconut trees, it's not too hot in the morning. The sun shines in only at approximately 12pm, which is the best time to get a tan.

Buffet breakfast is served as early as 5.30am local time. It offers a wide range of American flavours like sausage and bacon, potato, all sorts of bread together with lots of local fruits to chose from. Chose a table outside the coffee house, you can either face the swimming pool or the Chao Phraya River, great relaxation in life!

Menam Riverside Hotel offers half hourly boat service to Thapan Taksin BTS Station, starting from 7.30am till 11.30am. Just make a reservation at the front desk, a ticket will be given to you. Walk past the swimming pool to the back of the hotel and board the boat at the pier. Boat ride takes slightly more then 5 minutes to the station. Thereafter, you can take BTS to any of your desired locations.

Main entrance of the hotel is actually surrounded by a few blocks of shops offering souvenirs, foot massage, Indian cuisine, tailors and many local hawker stalls (further down the street). Take a walk out of the hotel, and you can get close to the locals!

Convenient location with reasonable price, charming lobby lounge with great views... 2 thumbs up!
TIP: Hotel private transfer to the new Sukhumvambumi Airport is TBH1,000/way. Booking counter is at the main entrance.

Our room, on the 15th floor was spacious and large windows gave us a grand view of the Chao Phraya River. Bouquets of fresh orchids were in the bathroom and in the bedroom when we arrived and were replaced after 3 days. A bowl of fresh fruit was on a table. This 4 Star hotel had a large swimming pool, a workout room, a beauty shop, 3 restaurants, a gift shop and a bakery. A pianist and a duo provided evening entertainment in the lobby lounge. The executive Lounge had a business center with email and fax capability. We had access to a VIP Lounge on our floor.
