Take care: the queen villa angkor is a new gueshouse (hotel) with same management! it's new located (near angkor high school lycee) and now about 10 minutes to walk to the center. the house ist amazing! a villa in colonial-khmer-styel with wonderful and big rooms. sure, now more expensive ($ 25,- up to $ 35,-) but it's absolutely worth it! nice garden, nice pool, very quiet in the night, top service and informations. small breakfast free.

The Queen Hose Villa

After a horrible arrive at the bus station in Siem Reap (dozens of drivers forcing me to get on their tuk tuk), I ended up in a guesthouse called "The Queen House Villa" and I was happy! Top location (just 2 minutes to walk to the center), big and great rooms for $6--including breakfast and bicycles! The staff are very friendly and Michael, the Austrian owner, very, very helpful! I love this place and when I come back to Siem Reap, the "Queen" is my first choice to stay!
