This is the place that we usually stay at every year in Ocean City. The hotel itself is located 1 block from the boardwalk/beach, and towards the middle of all the attractions and shops on the boardwalk. While this is not the nicest hotel I have ever stayed at, it is fine for what we use it for. The decor is a little dated, and probably could use some updating, but it is not so bad that it will bother you. The staff is friendly, and any concerns that we had were dealt with promptly. The manager and owner walk around, and are also very friendly and willing to listen to suggestions or comments you may have. Accommodations are basic. Each room has a small desk, dresser, and a cable TV. Bathrooms are somewhat small, but still functional. Price wasn't bad (about $1000 for the week) compared to many of the other places around. There is a small pool area in the middle, which will work fine for kids. Parking is somewhat limited, but the office will help you out with it if you ask. If you are just looking for a decent room at a reasonable price, this is a good bet.
