This hotel is not located downtown. The hotels in downtown are very expensive, and we didn't want to spend that much money. This hotel was great, pretty luxurious, and it had a bar and restaurant (Bar Jules Verne and Les Voutes Restaurant). The price for a nice room with a king-size bed was under C$90. I think that was a great deal, especially if you have a rental car, as downtown is 10 minutes away.
The Clarion Hotel is also just 5 minutes from Québec Jean Lesage International Airport and the Ste. Foy Train and Bus Station, so that is pretty convenient. Also, if you are coming from Montreal, the hotel is right at the entrance to the city, so you cannot miss it.
