Peace and Quiet All Around

My experience was at all times positive. I disconnected from the outside world and the noise and chaos it offers. I visited the bar and was served by one of the friendliest bartenders. He makes the best Pisco Sours you'll ever have! Whether it was at the bar or the patios or from my beautiful room balcony, at all times, I could unwind and relax. It is an experience I recommend to anyone looking for some peace and quiet.

I am now enjoying the last moments of my magical trip to Cusco writing about this marvelous experience from my laptop (thanks to the wireless internet in the hotel). I truly want to thank the quality and kindness of the service I received. Checking-in is a delight with such a well run staff. They all have been more than efficient, from the bellboy at the entrance to the chef and his exquisite delicacies. Thank you Libertador hotel, thank you Cusco.

We ended up in this hotel by chance and there is not a thing we could complain about. It was wonderful with friendly & helpful staff, fantastic location & a great restaurant. We were welcomed with coca teas to prevent altitude sickness and in the morning a complete breakfast which I had in bed for no extra charge. Its majestic patios surrounded me while reading my book in the peace and quiet I needed.

We couldn’t believe our eyes while walking around Machu Picchu. It was such our disbelief that it was only after we developed our films that it became real. I remember we looked at the pictures at the hotel balcony under the magic spell of the breathtaking view we had in front of us. What a perfect end for an unforgettable trip!

On my flight Lima-Cuzco I saw the most impressive views of the Andes; blue skies, cotton-like clouds and tall majestic snow-covered mountains. Once in the hotel, I spent my afternoons in the beautiful hotel patios trying to capture all this beauty on writing, to finally end the day enjoying the delicious dishes prepared by the hotel chef and exchanging stories and adventures with other holidaymakers. It is definitely an experience I cannot wait to repeat.
