This Place Was Beyond Our Expectations

Visiting family for a reunion required some of us to room away from the center of all our activities. We volunteered. It turned out to be a great decision. The resort was well staffed...the accommodations spacious...clean and luxurious. Our rooms even had a hot tub/spa. P&Q was what we wanted and P&Q is what we got. Although no restaurant is available on the property, the choices within minutes would take us months to work through. To our surprise, the tourist meccas of Pidgeon Forge and Gatlinburg were minutes away. Although we stumbled upon Wyndham Smoky Mtns, we're going back ASAP.

This place was awesome, it had a top notch service. They had shuttle service to all parts of the resorts, it came to your door when you called. All of the rooms looked new. We stayed in a two-bedroom room for three days and in a four-bedroom three-bath suite which was to die for. The two bedroom had a huge master bed with a private bathroom that was bigger than the master bedroom with a corner whirlpool tub. The kitchen had new appliances and a wrap-around bar. The furniture was tasteful with wood bark arms and legs. The beds were extra comfortable. The second bedroom had two full-sized beds and an equally large bathroom. Now the fourth bedroom was very elegant and to die for. The furniture was leather and you had a big screen TV in the living room, a formal dining room (I mean formal), and a large kitchen with granite counters and new appliances. There where two master bedrooms both with whirlpool tubs in their adjoining bathrooms, the two additional rooms both had two double beds, you even had a small office area and a full laundry room. I did not want to leave! The onsite amenities were endless with tons of pools, rec rooms, activities, tours, kids splash areas, and more.

Best Things Nearby:
There are so many things to do nearby I cant start to list them. Great restaurants, mini golf, go carts, and so much more

Best Things About the Resort:
The location. Fairfield is about 2 miles off of the main highway. You will hear no noise from the road. And the staff the works there were great. Very helpful in every way.

Resort Experience:
The resort itself is like a condo. It is set off the road about 2 miles. Our unit was next to a field with some cows in it. A great place if you have children. They have a mini put-put golf course at the resort. An indoor pool. And one of the best things Fairfield had sentry check the parking lots all night.

Best Things Nearby:
Outlet shopping malls, go-carts and miniature golf, Dollywood, golf courses, Fuddruckers. and WalMart.

Best Things About the Resort:
The storage space available for food and personal items was exceptional. Location is central to tons of activities.

Resort Experience:
This is a wonderful place to bring a group of people. Units are spacious, well maintained, and arranged for maximum view of the beautiful Smokey Mts. The kids loved the pools and the variety of activities on site. Nearby we visited Dollywood, hiked in the Smokey Mts, created our own bears at Boyds Bears, went go-cart racing, and played miniature golf. The adults enjoyed the outlet shopping, the beautifully designed and maintained golf courses with reasonable rates, the variety of musical shows, and plenty of delicious and reasonably priced restaurants for eating out. A super-size WalMart was just across the street for the eat-in occasions, forgotten items, and the birthday cake for our 4-year-old granddaughter.

Best Things Nearby:
Lots of shopping outlets, places to eat, entertainment and amusements.

Best Things About the Resort:
The resort is right off the main road and is right in the middle of all the action. On-site amenities include exercise equipment, organized activities, outdoor hot tub, indoor and outdoor pool, and children's playground. We were disappointed in the size of the outdoor pool, which is too small for the size of the resort. However, another pool is under construction, which should alleviate this situation. The resort staff is very friendly and helpful. Discounted tickets to the many shows and attractions can be purchased at the concierge desk.

Resort Experience:
We had a spacious one-bedroom deluxe unit. There was a full kitchen with dishwasher, electric stove, refrigerator and microwave. There was a breakfast bar in addition to a dining area. There was also a washer and dryer in the unit. The living room had a queen size sofa/sleeper, TV, VCR and stereo/cassette/CD unit. Sliding glass doors opened to a patio/balcony and a beautiful view. The master bedroom had a king-size bed and TV. The large bathroom had a dressing area, Jacuzzi, and shower with two sinks and lavatory. The unit was nicely decorated and everything was clean and in good condition. All the buildings are four levels and have elevators.

There are many activities scheduled each day and most require advance signup. Guests can participate or do their own thing. We enjoyed the Sunday Evening Mixer at the clubhouse, getting to know our neighbors and staff. Live music, games and light refreshments were provided.
