Hotel Bartolomeo Venezia

Hotel Bartolomeo was booked by our tour company, so we didn't know where we would end up. But as it was a 3-star hotel, we didn't bother. Actually, we spent 2-3 hours looking for the hotel, since buildings are numbered along the canals. We were looking at S.Marco, but that was the wrong place to start. You have to find plaza Bartolomeo, and then it will be a piece of cake to find the hotel.The hotel is nice, indeed. It is in a narrow sidestreet. Just like everything in Venice, the hotel was narrow too. Just a bed, and enough room to walk around the bed. The washroom was very good, even with bidet! The view out of the window was very "Venetian"—the windows of the opposite building 2 or 3 meteres away. But that's Venice. Room was clean, unfortunately, the air-conditioning was not working. The breakfast served was okay, as always. The service was very good, they even served hot chocolate.The hotel is just few block away from the Rialto bridge—a great location, just in the center of Venice.
