We reserved a Jacuzzi room with a king-sized bed and checked-in on Friday morning. Even though we were early, the staff gladly let us checked-in anyway, as our room was clean and ready. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and can help you find somewhere to eat, set up a tour, or even recommend good places to shop. The wineries tour we were supposed to go on was going to pick us up right at the hotel, which is an added convenience for those who don't want the responsibility for choosing a designated driver.
Our room was clean, the Jacuzzi was large enough for two of us, and we enjoyed our stay very much. The indoor pool was an added bonus, although we didn't have time to swim while we were there. The location is good as well. Its only a few minutes drive to downtown Traverse City, and about 25 minutes to the wineries on the Leelanau Peninsula, and a little less to the Old Mission Peninsula wineries. The beaches and restaurants are all just a few minutes drive away. Watch for specials, and if possible ask for a corporate rate for even better deals.
