This resort is right in the middle of Newport overlooking the bay. The restaurants and shopping are very nearby all within walking distance. No need for a car.

Best Things About the Resort:
The resort itself was very helpful in attending to our every need. Whatever you asked for they were more than willing to accommodate you. They even suggested where to go for dinner/who had the best deals for dinner and also gave you a list of restaurants and their specials at the time of your stay. They have a indoor pool area with a workout center which is very nice and a sauna. There is no hot tub at this resort. There is a play area with swings that is fenced in for children and also a outdoor pool area.

Resort Experience:
When you walk into your unit, it is big and spacious. We had two-bedroom unit, so to one side there is a guest bedroom with a balcony and the master bedroom is on the other side. The kitchen was a full kitchen where they supplied you with coffee, coffee filters, dishwasher detergent, dish detergent, toaster, pots, pans, glasses, cups, plates and place mats, silverware, full stove and microwave, and full refrigerator. They even had a garbage can with the bags to go with it. The guest bedroom if you call ahead they will make into a king size, it usually is twin beds and it also has a bathroom. The master bedroom has a very spacious bathroom with a washer and dryer, blow-dryer, and a Jacuzzi tub. There is a closet in there also that is very large. The bed is a kid size, and there is also a TV. The dining area was very large, and the table sits six people; the living room has a fireplace, two chairs, and a sofa, with a nice Sterno system and a DVD player. The TV is quite large. This is a very nice place to stay. On the living room side there is also a balcony that overlooks the harbor, with tables and chairs to sit out on - a nice feature for the warmer months. I would definitely come back to this resort - no need to look elsewhere.
