This place was so amazing. The staff was friendly and funny. The rooms were beautiful and the view indescribably beautiful. This time of year, the town was slow but it did not matter. We had a great time exploring the mountains during the day and cuddling up by the fire at night. I would not stay anywhere else!

Comfortable accommodations in the heart of town, with direct access to Mirror Lake. Amenities included free WiFi, use of the indoor pool, hot tub, sauna; white sandy beach; paddle boats, canoes, row boats, kayaks. Great for families with kids of all ages.

The Golden Arrow is a medium-sized resort hotel located on the shore of Mirror Lake, in the center of Lake Placid Village.

They have a surprising selection of rooms, most are typical size and shape, but some that are specialty themes. These are not available to book on line, you have to call.

Parking can be a real problem in Lake Placid, so we choose the Golden Arrow in part because they have underground parking. Then we just walk everywhere.

The hotel is locally owned and operated, and you can really tell. Everyone is very friendly, homey, and enthusiastic.
