We had read on another travel site that this hotel was nice and a great deal. We when we called, we were told they only had one room left for when we wanted to stay. The room was $99, which is more than we would generally pay for a room, but since we were told it was an efficiency with a stove and refrigerator, we agreed to it.
Bottom line, we were very disappointed in the room, based on the price. The room was very small, the bed was soft, and all the furniture, dishes, pots, and TV were all straight from Goodwill. The linens were thin and felt like they were 20 years old.
A couple of nice features about this hotel (really a low-quality motel) are that it's outside of town and has some nice views, and has a hot tub and pool.
We expressed our disappointment to management and they were not willing to make a change, just an offer to reduce our rate by $20 a night on our next stay.
We won't be going back to the Fairway Inn.
