We had a last minute change in itinerary and stopped by the Marco Polo. The lobby is typical Eastern European, "Soviet" era, post-modern. But the rooms have recently been renovated. Very clean, modern, superb (if a bit hard) bed with great duvet cover. A great option in this small town.
The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. When we mentioned we were leaving at 5:00am to catch a 6:00am ferry, they packed us breakfast (bread, fruit, spreads, etc.) to take along.
