It is such an unfortunate incident when I heard that the JW Marriott Hotel was bombed. I frequented this hotel because the general manager was a friend and partner in a worthwhile cause.
I may be blessed to have enjoyed the original grandeur of the hotel when it was newly opened. It’s restaurants and buffet are splendid with the sumptuous food they offer daily.
The spa and activity area is fully equipped and ensures one of an enjoyable and relaxing physical activity. The hotel staffs are courteous and helpful. Rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated ensuring a memorable stay in this luxurious hotel.
I love their buffet. A long table of Japanese food, international cuisines and fresh fruits and mouthwatering desserts is a delight not only to the sight but also to my gustatory taste. Dining in a well-lit and spacious restaurant gives you a view of the green oval across the hotel. That was in 2002. I'd like to go back and see how things are improving in Marriott.
By the way, don't forget the delicious Peking duck in their Chinese restaurant. I remember that time when I spent Thanksgiving with the general manager and his wife. We had a truly appetizing turkey and we had the restaurant all to ourselves.
