Paradise in St. Lucia at Sandals!

I don't even know where to begin because the magic began when we entered the resort and didn't end until we sadly left!

Let me start with the rooms. We were privileged enough to see a variety of guest suites. The first one, The Honeymoon Suite, was very quaint, with a beautiful romantic canopy bed, and a view to write home about. Later that evening we were surprised with flowers and a bottle of champagne to begin our honeymoon! Our next room we tried out a few days later was a Honeymoon Lagoon Swim-up Concierge Room. It was better than we both imagined. How thrilling it is to wake up and walk out onto your terrace into a peaceful pool! We loved the room service available there and the breakfast options. After a few days there we moved again....this time we were blown away. We stayed in the Ultra Luxury Beach Rondoval Suite with Private Plunge Pool and Whirlpool. There we were in complete honeymoon mode. It was serene and beautiful.

The people we met at the resort will be our friends for life. I am sure of that. We had such a blast with them on the beach, on excursions, by the pool (bar), in the Lobby at night and in the Palladium. So many great memories were made that will be cherished forever. We cannot stop looking at the pictures!

The Playmakers are the epitome of FUN IN THE SUN! Even in the rain, they bring out the best in everyone. Junior and Jardin are amazing. They are like energizer bunnies. The bartenders, Petra, Randy, Davidson, & Sean always made us feel at home. Nathaniel at the front desk couldn't have been nicer! We will miss all of them!

The beach is clean and beautiful, the pools are well maintained as well as the grounds. Sandals Grande St. Lucian is one of the best all-inclusive resorts we've been to, and we have visited many. To us, that's the only way to go! The food was definitely 5 star quality as well!

I can see why there are many guests who return time and time again. We are anxious to try out the Sandals in Antigua or Bahamas. We cannot stop telling out friends about our experience and are encouraging them to book Sandals for their honeymoons that are coming up.

We Loved It!

My husband and I went to the Grande several years ago. We picked that over the other two Sandals on the island b/c our cousins had recently tried the Grande and loved it.
Upon arriving we were upgraded and had a lovely room. My favorite part of the vacation was getting breakfast delivered to the room each day. We loved the excursions. The staff was great! The beach and pools were great. This hotel seemed new and the rooms were nice.
A tip would be to plan your air travel overnight b/c it took us a whole day to reach our destination. You probably want to stay at least 6 nights. Try to set up dinner reservations right away to the special restaurants so you don't miss out. There are some great choices at the other Sandals hotels, but we missed out on a couple of the restaurants b/c they were booked already. Another tip would be to not eat the fruit if you leave the resort. The fruit did make us sick the day following one of our excursions.
I recommend Sandals to anyone esp. honeymooners. We are planning a 5 yr anniversary trip with friends to the Sandals Ocho Rios. We chose Ocho Rios b/c we are going with friends and wanted to stay at a larger resort this time. The St Lucian Grande really didn't have a great night life at the resort, but our days were so packed that we were kind of worn out by 11pm anyhow.

Sandals Grande St. Lucian in St. Lucia was probably one of the most beautiful places I've ever been to. The price range was from $2,500 to $7,500 for a week's stay.

St. Lucia is so romantic. The people there are great. They are very accommodating and extremely hospitable. The resort is stunning. It was very clean and neat. The room was gorgeous and the view was spectacular. The maid service was efficient and kept the room immaculate at all times. The room came with a Jacuzzi, king-size bed, full bar, TV, and radio. The resort had many activities for couples at almost anytime of the day. There was shopping, a dance club, two amazing pools, and 10 great restaurants. The food was great! And the best part was that it was ALL-INCLUSIVE. I recommend this resort to any young couple, whether honeymooners or just lovers.
